Overview

The report presents Sartorius's first Sustainability Statement prepared in full compliance with ESRS for fiscal 2024. It reports 239,377 MWh total energy consumption, including 34% renewable energy, and gross emissions of 20,355 t CO2eq Scope 1, 51,872 t location-based Scope 2 and 645,033 t Scope 3. The Group reports 13,528 employees and zero work-related fatalities among employees and external workers. Sartorius has set a net-zero ambition for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2045, while its 2030 intensity target is a 10% reduction from 2019.
