Overview

The report presents Sartorius' first full consolidated Sustainability Statement prepared in compliance with ESRS and covering fiscal 2025. It reports total energy consumption of 265,022 MWh in the detailed table, with renewable energy representing 36% of the mix, and gross 2025 emissions of 21,185 t CO2eq for Scope 1, 57,625 t CO2eq for location-based Scope 2, and 482,744 t CO2eq for Scope 3. Sartorius adopted 2030 climate targets and aims to reach net-zero GHG emissions in 2045; the medium-term targets were validated by SBTi in January 2026. The statement includes a limited assurance report from PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH.
