Overview

The report describes Sasol's reset, transition and reinvention strategy, including an ambition to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. It reports an approximate 5% reduction in combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2017 baseline, while also disclosing two workplace fatalities. Sasol commissioned its first green hydrogen production from existing Sasolburg assets and progressed renewable power purchase agreements exceeding 600MW.
