Overview

The report describes Sasol's FY23 progress on decarbonisation, including a 30% absolute Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030, more than 600MW of renewable-energy PPAs, and green hydrogen production. It reports an A- CDP climate score and continued work across water, biodiversity, waste and community investment. Safety remained a significant issue, with two employee and service-provider fatalities reported for the year. Selected sustainability KPIs received reasonable or limited assurance from Deloitte & Touche/Tholisiwe.
