Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report

The report presents SEC's 2021 ESG performance across environmental, social and governance topics. Total GHG emissions increased to 185,307,479 tons of CO2eq, while water consumption was 6,403,192 m3 and waste generated was 211,618 tons. The company reported 32,863 full-time employees, approximately 1,000 gigawatt hours of renewable energy produced by IPPs/IWPPs, and two contractor fatalities. ESG oversight was assigned to the Board Committee on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Sustainability.
