Overview

The report presents the Swiss National Bank's 2021 operational sustainability performance across employment, equal opportunity, social contributions and environment. It reports 950 employees at year-end and highlights a new reporting system for regulation violations geared to ISO 37002 principles and externally certified. Environmental indicators include 11 220 MWh of energy, 7,540 m3 of water and 69 tonnes of office waste. Operational GHG emissions were 861 tonnes CO2 equivalents, and the bank states that its operational processes have been carbon neutral since 2011.
