Sustainability Report

The report describes the Swiss National Bank's 2025 sustainability reporting across governance, social matters, and climate and environmental topics. It reports an operational transition plan with a target to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 50% by 2030 from 2017 and to reach net zero by 2050 at the latest. Operational Scope 3 emissions are reported at 4,272 tonnes of CO2 equivalents, while 2025 measures included energy-efficiency work and a photovoltaic system. The report also includes externally assured financed-emissions metrics for selected investment asset classes.
