Annual Report

The report sets out Sime Darby Plantation's 50% carbon-emissions reduction target by 2030 and describes progress from its biogas programme, which increased reported carbon-emissions reduction to 21.6% in 2021. It highlights 12 operational biogas facilities, renewable-energy investments and nature-based solutions. The company also reports extensive human-rights, recruitment, grievance and worker-welfare improvements across its Malaysian operations. Sustainability oversight is assigned to the Board through the Board Sustainability Committee.
