Overview

The report presents Sembcorp's 2012 sustainability reporting around five focus areas: Economic; Governance, Risk and Compliance; People; Health, Safety and Environment; and Community. It reports renewable energy capacity in operation and under development at around 5% of the total power portfolio, including newly acquired Chinese wind assets. The report also documents a materiality review using stakeholder input and reports under GRI 3.1 Application Level B, while noting that external assurance remained a future aim.
