Corporate Responsibility Report (Key Highlights)

The report highlights Serco's 2005 corporate responsibility activities across safety, people, community and environment. It reports group-wide implementation of ASSURE to gather health, safety and environmental information and consolidate environmental performance data. Health and safety highlights include a 7.4% improvement in the reportable injury rate and a 50% drop in reported passenger assaults over three years. Community investment totaled £1,017,129, while 80 employees volunteered in a company-supported Sri Lankan house-building programme.
