Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report presents Serco's 2021 ESG performance across social, environmental and governance pillars, with 50,744 employees and 44.4% women on the Group plc Board. Scope 1 emissions were 165,417 tCO2e and market-based Scope 2 emissions were 43,222 tCO2e, while total energy consumption used to calculate Scope 1+2 emissions was 811,377 MWh. Serco reported a B CDP score, a 22% 2025 reduction target against a 2019 baseline, and a commitment to net zero in its own assets, leases and business travel by 2030.
