The report describes Serco's strong 2022 financial performance alongside a refreshed five-theme ESG framework focused on public impact, communities, colleagues, net zero and responsible governance. It reports 2022 Scope 1 emissions of 31,894 tCO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 968,126 tCO2e on a market-based basis. The company formally committed to net zero across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2050 and reported an improved CDP score of A-. Selected Social and Governance KPIs received limited assurance from Grant Thornton, while environmental KPIs received reasonable assurance from Carbon Intelligence, part of Accenture.
