The report describes Serco’s 2023 growth, with group revenue of £4,873.8m and more than 50,000 colleagues across its operations. It reports Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 28,027 tCO2e, an 18% reduction against restated 2022 figures, and market-based Scope 3 emissions of 1,168,064 tCO2e. The company states that it has formally committed to net zero across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2050. Its revised 42% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030 from a 2022 base year was submitted to SBTi for validation.
