Overview

The report describes SCI's 2023 focus on associates, families, and communities, including a workforce of 24,922 associates. It reports estimated Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 149,626 metric tons CO2e, comprising 110,537 Scope 1 and 39,089 Scope 2. A new utility reporting system captured 115,898 MWh of purchased electricity and a 20% renewable energy share, while water reporting covered 12.02 billion cubic meters withdrawn and 3.12 billion cubic meters reclaimed or recycled.
