The report describes Severfield–Rowen's difficult 2010 trading conditions, with revenue falling 24% to £266.7m, while the Group retained a profitable performance. Its Steel Futures programme focused on safety, community engagement, responsible sourcing, carbon management, recycling, renewable energy, and water management. The report also highlights the Group's achievement of BES 6001 for responsible sourcing and Gold Standard recognition under the Steel Construction Sustainability Charter, alongside investment in employee training and hybrid vehicles.
