Overview

The report presents SFL's 2018 ESG disclosures under the SASB Marine Transportation framework and incorporates UN Global Compact principles. It reports 3 606 422 metric tonnes of gross global Scope 1 emissions and 23 811 062 GJ of total energy consumed. SFL highlights more than 200 million USD of sulphur-abatement investment, periodic hull and propeller cleaning, and no spill incidents during 2018. The report also describes its zero-tolerance anti-bribery policy, UNGP commitment and focus on SDGs 14 and 16.
