Annual Report

The report presents SGL Carbon's 2018 performance and sustainability activities across its global Group. It identifies and validates 23 material topics using a double-materiality approach, covering compliance, products, environment, health and safety, resource management, and employee affairs. Environmental data include 1,441 gigawatt hours of energy consumption, 406 thousand tons of CO2 emissions, 9.24 million m3 of water requirement, and 29.7 thousand tons of waste volume. The separate non-financial Group report was subject to limited external assurance by KPMG.
