Annual Report

The report describes SGS's 2008 as a year of financial expansion, with total revenue reaching CHF 4.8 billion and 14 acquisitions completed. It also marks the establishment of a corporate sustainability vice-president role and a Sustainability Steering Committee. SGS began measuring its carbon footprint using Greenhouse Gas Protocol tools and methods, while describing further environmental assessment and target-setting as work still to come.
