Overview

The report describes Board-level oversight of the Group's ESG strategy and a broad green-finance program. At the end of 2021, green credit stood at RMB311.35 billion and the Bank reported that it helped reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 10 million tons. The report also highlights carbon-emission-reduction loans supporting an annual reduction of 3,338,100 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent and 29 charitable donations totaling RMB29,087,500.
