Sustainability Report

The report shows Shangri-La's 2012 sustainability performance across its hotel network, including 922.1 kilotonnes CO2e of combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, 6,471.1 million megajoules of energy consumption and 14,988.6 thousand kiloliters of potable water consumption. It also reports 45 ISO 14001-certified hotels and 60,174 colleague volunteer hours. The workforce comprised 41,269 permanent colleagues, while Embrace and Sanctuary continued as major community and conservation programmes.
