Overview

The report describes how the Group responded to COVID-19 through its Shangri-La Cares health and safety commitment, community support and expanded hygiene protocols. It highlights Board endorsement of a four-pillar ESG Framework and delegation of ESG oversight to the Audit & Risk Committee. In 2020, the Group reported 1,332 GWh of energy use, 11,780 ML of water use, 734 kt CO2e of combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and a 55% non-hazardous waste diversion rate.
