Overview

The report presents Shangri-La's 2022 sustainability performance across its hotels and investment properties. It discloses Scope 3 emissions for the first time across three categories and reports progress against carbon, energy, water and plastics targets. The Group recorded 40,746 employees and zero workplace fatalities, while community programmes generated 126,115 volunteer hours and reached 241,701 beneficiaries. ESG oversight is assigned to the Board and its Audit & Risk Committee, supported by the ESG Committee.
