Sustainability Report

The report describes Shell's 2015 energy-transition strategy, including natural gas, carbon capture and storage, biofuels and hydrogen, while noting the start-up of Quest CCS in Canada. It reports 72 million tonnes of direct GHG emissions and 9 million tonnes of market-based indirect GHG emissions. Safety results include seven fatalities and a total recordable case frequency of 0.94. Environmental data include 2,135 thousand tonnes of total waste and 186 million cubic metres of fresh water withdrawn.
