Sustainability Report

The report presents Shinhan Financial Group's 2025 sustainability strategy, activities and performance across Planet, People, Prosperity and Principle. Highlights include KRW 26.2 trillion in cumulative climate finance, internal GHG emissions of 64,154 tCO2eq, and renewable energy use of 29.3% of total energy consumption. The Group also reports a double materiality assessment covering environmental, social and financial impacts, with ESG oversight through a Board-level ESG Strategy Committee. The report includes GRI, TCFD, SASB and ISSB-related disclosures and independent assurance by BSI, alongside DNV verification of Scope 1, Scope 2 and selected Scope 3 emissions.
