Sustainability Report

The report describes Shoprite Group's FY 2026 sustainability performance across its workforce, communities and environmental impacts. It reports 174,430 employees, renewable energy use of 8.0%, and total GHG emissions of 16,367,907 tCO2e. The Group also reports progress on its SBTi-approved 2030 emissions targets and its 2050 net-zero pathway, while highlighting community food-security programmes and waste diversion.
