Sustainability Report

The report documents Shurgard's 2023 sustainability performance across 276 stores and 715 personnel, including 40% like-for-like energy reduction and 53% like-for-like GHG reduction against the 2017 baseline. It sets net-zero carbon commitments for operational emissions by 2030 and across the value chain by 2040, while reporting initial Scope 3 categories. The report also introduces a double materiality assessment, discloses EU Taxonomy KPIs, and includes AA1000AS assurance over selected environmental measures.
