Overview

The report describes Siemens' 2007 corporate-responsibility priorities, with particular attention to compliance, climate protection and education. The company reported 398,200 employees and greenhouse gas emissions of 5.1 million tons of CO2 equivalent. Its environmental portfolio generated €16.9 billion in revenue and was credited with 114 million tons of annual customer carbon savings. Following compliance violations, Siemens imposed sanctions on around 500 employees and expanded anti-corruption training, which had reached 36,000 employees.
