Overview

The report presents Siemens' fiscal 2012 sustainability strategy and performance across its Environmental Portfolio, operations, workforce and supply chain. It reports EUR33.2 billion of Environmental Portfolio revenue, equal to 42% of total revenue, and 2,855 thousand tons of CO2 equivalents in total GHG emissions. It also reports an 8% improvement in energy efficiency versus the 2010 baseline and an 84% waste recycling share. The report was subject to a limited assurance engagement by Ernst & Young.
