Annual Report

The report presents Silver Fern Farms' 2019 performance through its Sustainable Chain of Care and eight material sustainability issues. It describes the company's first public verification and reporting of emissions, including a 2018 footprint of 113,475T CO2 equivalent and a 7.7% reduction in energy use per kilogram produced. The sustainability report card tracks progress on water, waste, energy, carbon, wastewater, safety, community sponsorship, and farmer programmes. The report also records the Co-operative's renewed purpose and the operating company's strong financial performance, including $2.6B of revenue.
