Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report describes the Group's 2018 environmental, social and governance practices across resource use, environmental impact, employees, operations and community contribution. It reports 1,409,234 cubic meters of water consumption, 94,739 tCO2eq of greenhouse gas emissions and 21,498 employees. The Group highlights significant pharmaceutical R&D activity, including 23 clinical approvals and 18 production approvals, alongside product and safety initiatives. Community contributions included RMB10 million to Tsinghua University, RMB0.6 million in scholarships and approximately RMB0.2 million in school supplies and winter clothing.
