Overview

The report is SIPEF Group's first dedicated sustainability report, covering 2014 and the first three quarters of 2015 across its owned and managed plantations. It highlights group-wide 100% RSPO certification of mill production and continued traceability, alongside methane capture at five of eight oil mills. It also profiles the SIPEF Foundation's 12 672-hectare ecosystem restoration project in Sumatra and its community and biodiversity work. The company sets ongoing goals covering HCV protection, GHG measurement, labour standards and health and safety.
