Overview

The report presents Smurfit Westrock's first consolidated, company-wide sustainability performance after the 2024 combination of Smurfit Kappa and WestRock. It introduces Better Planet Targets, including a 28% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 from a 2019 baseline, alongside water, waste, forestry, and community targets. The 2025 disclosures cover global environmental data, approximately 97,000 employees, and five workplace fatalities across employees and subcontractors. KPMG provided independent limited assurance over the entire report.
