Overview

The report describes SpareBank 1 Østlandet's first GRI-aligned sustainability reporting following a 2017 materiality assessment. Sustainability became one of six main strategy goals, while the merger made 2017 a transitional year for environmental data. The report records 5 657.1 MWh of total Scope 1+2 energy consumption and 454.3 tCO2e of total Scope 1+2+3 emissions for the Parent Bank, and reports 1 109 FTEs including subsidiaries. It also highlights ethics, responsible finance, and community activities.
