Overview

The report describes Sparebanken Møre's 2019 sustainability work across responsible banking, stakeholder engagement and day-to-day operations. It highlights the adoption of a new regional vision, commitment to the UN Principles for Responsible Banking, and identification of five priority SDGs. The Group reported 378 employees, while its ESG tables recorded 3 417 239 Kwh of energy use including district heating in Ålesund. Community initiatives included NOK 176 million allocated to local public benefit funds and NOK 8 million for women's football.
