Overview

The report presents sustainability as a tri-dimensional business approach spanning economic, social and environmental dimensions. It reports 6,972 SLT employees, Rs. 148 million invested in training, 445,076 training hours, and 13,841 participants in 2008. Community highlights include donating over 120,000 books annually through the Asia Foundation project and supporting awareness of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve with FOGSL. The report also describes broad ICT-enabled education and e-government initiatives across Sri Lanka.
