The report describes SSE’s 2018/19 performance, including a significant Energy Portfolio Management loss alongside £1.42bn of investment. It records 9,779 GWh of renewable output and a 7% year-on-year reduction in generated-electricity carbon intensity, with a 50% reduction goal for 2030 against 2018. It also reports 20,370 employees and explains that the proposed SSE Energy Services and npower transaction did not proceed.
