The report describes Standard Bank Group's Africa-focused strategy and its commitment to net-zero emissions across its operations and financed portfolio on different timelines. The group reported headline earnings of R42.9 billion, up 27%, and an ROE of 18.8% for 2023. It mobilised R50.6 billion in sustainable finance during the year, bringing cumulative mobilization to R105.1 billion toward its R250 billion 2026 target.
