The report presents Star Bulk's 2021 ESG performance across a 128-vessel fleet, including 2,836,917 tonnes of Scope 1 CO2, 511.36 tonnes of location-based Scope 2 emissions and 36,879,474 GJ of fleet energy consumption. It reports 333 onshore employees, 42% women among them, and zero work-related fatalities on board and ashore. The company also sets a 12% fleet carbon-intensity reduction target for 2026 against a 2019 baseline. Selected GRI and SASB disclosures received limited assurance from EY.
