Sustainability Report

The report describes Südzucker Group's continued implementation of its Growing in Balance sustainability strategy in fiscal 2023/24, including climate-risk analysis for agricultural supply chains and stronger human-rights processes. It reports validated SBTi targets, including a 50.4% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030 and a separate Scope 3 target. Group energy use fell to 49.1 million GJ, while Scope 1 and 2 emissions totaled 2.8 million tonnes of CO2eq. The report also records 20,114 employees at the reporting-date headcount and one partner-company workplace fatality alongside zero fatalities among own employees.
