Overview

The report describes Surgutneftegas' 2010 environmental programme across pipeline safety, land rehabilitation, air protection, water resources, waste management and monitoring. It reports reclamation and return of 4.108 thousand hectares of disturbed land and remediation of 96 hectares of oil-contaminated land. Associated petroleum gas utilization reached 95.9%, while total waste produced was 542.733 thousand tons and 465.879 thousand tons were used or disposed.
