Environmental Report

The report presents Surgutneftegas' 2022 environmental programme across climate, air, water, waste, land, biodiversity and indigenous peoples. It reports gross greenhouse gas emissions of 1,722 thousand tonnes CO2-equivalent, a reduction of 7% from 2021, and an associated petroleum gas utilization level of 99.41%. It also reports 118,043.54 '000 cub m of water consumption and 1,073.3 '000 tonnes of waste generated, while highlighting RUB 34.7 billion invested in environmental activity and 4,600 thousand pine saplings planted.
