Overview

The report describes Swedbank's 2022 sustainability work across four home markets, including climate targets for its lending portfolio and a 60 per cent direct-emissions reduction target by 2030. It reports 14,559 tonnes CO2e of total operational emissions, with Scope 1, 2 and 3 figures of 622, 5,065 and 8,872 tonnes respectively. The company says the Board has ultimate sustainability responsibility, reports according to GRI and obtained limited PwC assurance over sustainability reporting and PRB self-assessment.
