Sustainable Development Report

The report describes Swire Properties' first inclusion of Mainland China and Swire Hotels data in its performance summary, alongside the opening of TaiKoo Hui in Guangzhou. The company reports saving 27 million kWh of energy since 2008 and accelerating its energy-reduction target to 50 million kWh by 2016. It also details broad community, employee and value-chain programmes, including nearly 1,300 Community Ambassadors contributing almost 6,000 service hours. HKQAA independently verified the report and confirmed its GRI G3.1 A+ application level.
