The report is Syngene's first ESG report for FY 2020-21 and covers company-wide sustainability performance in India. It highlights 82% procurement of electricity from green sources, 21,291 kL of water reused and 80% of total hazardous and non-hazardous waste recycled. The report also records 5,670 employees and women representing 44% of the Board of Directors. Its social response includes extensive COVID-19 testing, vaccination and workplace-protection measures.
