Overview

The report presents TSMC's 2010 CSR performance across economic, social and environmental topics, including 420 Billion NT$ of revenue, 33,232 employees, 3.689 Million Tons CO2 equivalent of greenhouse gas emissions, 84.1% process-water recycling and 92% waste recycling. It describes a goal to reduce PFC emission intensity 30% below the 2010 level by 2020, alongside expanded green-factory, water-saving and supply-chain programs. DNV conducted a Type 2, high level assurance engagement, excluding financial and GHG data from its verification.
