The report describes FY2016-17 group revenue of INR 17,980.02 crores and a workforce of 10,663 employees, including 245 off-roll employees. It reports three fatal incidents in India and deployment of an Environmental Management System, alongside energy-efficiency projects that reduced global emissions by 69,000 metric tons. CSR programmes reached approximately 46975 students and trained approximately 6732 women and youth, while the company aligned initiatives with SDGs 3, 4, 8, 10 and 17.
