Overview

The report covers FY2015-16 and presents TCS's GRI G4 Core sustainability disclosures for global operations. It reports 353,843 employees, a 3.1% renewable-energy share, and a 50% specific carbon-footprint reduction target by 2020 against 2007-08. It also reports Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 31,924 and 4,39,400 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, respectively, and describes seven Scope 3 categories. TCS additionally reports that its Liverpool delivery center achieved net zero carbon in January 2016, while the company-wide roadmap targets water neutrality and zero waste to landfill.
