Annual Report

The report describes Tata Steel Group's financial turnaround, with 2010-11 turnover up 16% year over year. It reports Group CO2 emissions intensity of 2.15 tonnes per tonne of crude steel for the blast-furnace route and 2.01 tonnes including electric-arc-furnace steel. The Directors' Report also records 10 workplace fatalities across the Group, including five contractor employees, and describes continued capacity expansion and operating-improvement work.
