Overview

The report describes TDK's fiscal 2009 consolidation of EPCOS AG, which contributed to the Group's electronic-components expansion while consolidated net sales fell 16.0% to ¥727,400 million. It also highlights the company's environmental program, including a target to reduce emissions by at least 7% in Japan in fiscal 2011 versus fiscal 1991.
