Overview

The report presents TDK's CSR philosophy as implementation of the TDK Code of Ethics. It describes the Environmental Action 2020 plan, including a goal of carbon neutrality by the end of fiscal 2020 and efforts to reduce manufacturing and product-related CO2 emissions. Supplier CSR assessments use 60 questions, and the fiscal year ended March 2012 involved about 1,693 Japanese and 1,025 overseas companies. The report also highlights fiscal 2012 social-contribution awards, with 35 applications and 11 selected.
